These dressing tools feature a longer service life than diamond-impregnated dressing tools. They consist of whole, natural diamonds (so-called Ghana sand), which as a result of their naturally hard exterior skin are far harder than cleft diamonds.
Diamond sand dressers are primarily used for flat dressing of circumferential and flat surfaces on grinding wheels of coarse to medium grains.
We produce diamond sand dressers in two different bonds:
H = hard metal bond for silicide carbide of similar hard abrasives.
N = normal bond, resistant to wear for all other abrasives.
