For processing non-ferrous metals with the highest surface requirements, blades are used made of mono-crystalline diamonds (MCD). With these tools, it is possible to finish sealed, mirrored and gliding surfaces in one clamp when turning and milling. Alongside the typical natural diamonds, today we also increasingly use mono-crystalline synthetic diamonds (MCSD) in our tools. They are produ-ced in synthetic processes under high pressure and at high temperatures in special presses.
In addition to the constant extension of our geometrical cutting shapes, we also solve our customers’ problems with concepts such as vacuum soldered and internally cooled diamond tools. The on-going optimisation of our tools is complemented by cooperating with leading machine manufacturers. In today’s industry, diamond tools are used for many different purposes, from µm processing in the micro range up to cutting edge lengths of 18 mm. The following table contains a small selection of geometrical forms.
